March 2-4, 2013, Pre-Workshop class on Adobe Lightroom on March 1

Star Points/Star Trails- Death Valley, CA
This will be our first Death Valley workshop, and also our first offering with less than a full moon. This workshop will emphasize high ISO shooting for star points and the milky way, stacking for long star trails, and light painting. We’ll be pushing students to take their photography to the next level, and to test the limits of their cameras. This workshop is well suited to our workshop alumni, and others who have at least a basic familiarity with Night Photography

June 21-23, 2013, Pre-Workshop class on Adobe Lightroom on June 20

Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Tarrytown, NY
Hard to believe this will be my 6th workshop in four years at Sleepy Hollow. This workshop is really fun, and one I look forward to every time. Three nights, with the requisite visit from a decapitated equestrian on the final night.

Bodie Ghost Town at Night
Scott and I are mixing it up a little for 2013, with 3 nights at Bodie with a pre workshop on Lightroom and digital workflow. Bodie is always immensely popular, and thanks to Bodie Foundation founder and president Brad Sturdivant, we’ll be able to offer this unique opportunity to spend three whole nights at Bodie.
